Wanna design for Ray? Sweet! You'll be designing cool artwork, helping to give back to the environment and potentially getting some cash to boot! We're super-psyched to see what you come up with! Here's what you need to do...
1- Create Your Design:
We've got a few guidelines that will help you shape your amazing design. We're sure, since you're a brilliant creative type, that you've noticed that Ray is somehow a part of every one of our designs. This is by design! (chuckle) So: Guideline 1: your interpretation of Ray must be a part of the design you submit. How you interpret him is entirely up to you, so long as he is present somehow in your graphic. Guideline 2: keep it positive! Ray is all about celebrating the good things in our world, so keep your imagery light and positive so you can help Ray spread the love. Guideline 3: be Ray. Ray is you and you are Ray! Create him doing something you love to do in your environment. Whatever you're into: it's all fair game!
2- Submit Your Design:
Create your design in either Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator using one of the provided background color palettes. We're currently only able to print up to 6 colors, including white, black and any shades of the same color. If your design is in Photoshop, make sure the actual size at at least 150dpi. Save a copy of your design as either a .gif, .jpeg, or .png file. Of course, keep the original artwork handy so you can send it to us if your design is chosen. Email your file to us at art@gogreenray.com with the subject "The Greatest Design of All Time!". Note that your email will constitute an agreement to our design terms & conditions. That's all!
3- What Happens Next?
If your design is chosen, we'll grab the original .psd or .ai files from you, have you sign the aforementioned design terms & conditions, and cut you a check for $333! Not bad for a days work!
